This is stunning!! I've tried moon shots before and never do they come out this nice! What kind of lens did you use?

@Stephanie: Hi Stephanie, thank you for your comment... I used my Nikkor 70-300mm VR, no tripod (thanks to the VR) and center metering area (one focus point aimed at the Moon) and I always shot in RAW format, this one is 14 bits low compression out of my D300. I did a crop at 100% zoom. Good luck!
